DEPARTMENT OF ADMIN AND FINANCE

The Admin and Finance department is saddled with the responsibilities of coordinating the design of process, template and development of guidelines for the effective operation of the ministry. Implementation of policies on civil engineering works and transport within the Kaduna State. Provision of sustainable infrastructure, keeping track of infrastructure provision/deficit, construction of new roads and bridges, rehabilitation and maintenance of existing roads and bridges. The department also implements government’s centralization of motor vehicles repairs and maintenance initiative, coordinated the development of Procurement Plan for the Ministry, determined the gap of Motor Drivers in the Service, management of Human & Financial resources. A good number of the Ministry’s vehicles had been put in robust/improved working conditions. 75% implementation of the Procurement Plan of the Ministry in spite of the Covid-19 challenges. Initiated a recruitment process to fill the gap of Motor Drivers in the Service in collaboration with the Office of the Head of Service. Updating and rendition of monthly returns of the Ministry
